Andrés Izquierdo
Founder & Principal
Andrés Izquierdo advises governments, international organizations, universities, and technology and creative-industry clients on intellectual property, artificial intelligence, design law, and digital-platform regulation. He has extensive experience in copyright reform, text and data mining (TDM), AI governance, intermediary liability, and comparative IP systems across Latin America, the Andean Community, the U.S., and Europe.
He has contributed to WIPO treaty processes, including work related to the Design Law Treaty, and serves as counsel to academic and policy institutions such as PIJIP (American University Washington College of Law) and the Geneva Graduate Institute. His background includes leadership roles at Sony Music Entertainment and recognition by Best Lawyers and Chambers and Partners for IP and entertainment law.
Andrés is the author of Cyberlaw (Colombia) in Kluwer’s International Encyclopaedia of Laws and has widely published on copyright, AI, design law, and digital regulation.

Nicolás Hermida is a lawyer graduated from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA, 2001), with a distinguished background in intellectual property and copyright law. He earned a Master’s degree in Intellectual Property with honors from the University of Turin and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). He also received specialized training in technology commercialization and innovation from the University of California, Davis. He has served as an Associate Researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition in Munich, Germany, and currently works as an international consultant on intellectual property, copyright, patents, trademarks, and biotechnology. As Of Counsel on our team, Nicolás brings strategic insight and deep legal expertise that enhance the strength of our specialized IP services.

Heather Neisworth

Heather has led global campaigns for international institutions and has taught digital strategy and communication at major universities. Fellows – Fall 2025
We are pleased to host two research fellows in Fall 2025 from the LLM in Intellectual Property, from the Joint Program between the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the University of Turin, Italy. Our fellows will be supporting the firm’s work in public interest IP and global negotiation frameworks. Fellows contribute to ongoing legal research, capacity-building projects, and support work with government and multilateral clients.
Andrea Diaz Milord
Andrea is a lawyer from Panamá with six years of experience in intellectual property and business law. She advises companies from a wide range of industries on the registration and enforcement of trademarks, patents, and industrial designs, and provides strategic guidance on copyright matters. Her practice also includes advising on strategic registrations across the globe and delivering tailored business law counsel to support companies in protecting and maximizing the value of their intellectual and commercial assets.
Hakan Hamidoğulları
Hakan is a lawyer from Turkey and brings his experience in corporate, real estate, and intellectual property law to the firm’s practice in design law and digital legal transformation. With more than six years advising multinational companies through leading consultancy firms and international law practices, he has also contributed to investment arbitration proceedings involving states. Hakan holds an LL.M. in Intellectual Property from the joint program of WIPO and the University of Turin and supports states and international clients in developing legal frameworks and strategies.
