Andrés Izquierdo Appointed Co-Chair of AIPLA Sub-Committee on Artificial Intelligence and Copyright

We’re thrilled to share that Andrés Izquierdo has been appointed Co-Chair of the Sub-Committee on Artificial Intelligence and Copyright at the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA)!

In this role, Andrés will provide thought leadership on one of the most pressing issues in intellectual property today: the intersection of artificial intelligence and copyright law. His responsibilities include:

✅ Keeping the AIPLA Copyright Committee informed on the latest national and international developments in AI and copyright.
✅ Analyzing the legal and policy implications of AI-generated works, ownership challenges, and fair use considerations.
✅ Exploring the ongoing work of major organizations such as the **World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO)**and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in shaping global AI and copyright frameworks.
