Nomination of Los Nuevos Canticuentos for Best Children’s Album at the Latin Grammy Awards

Nomination of Los Nuevos Canticuentos for Best Children’s Album at the Latin Grammy Awards

Congratulations to Marlore Anwandter, a deeply appreciated client of Andres Izquierdo | IP and Design Law Firm, on the nomination of Los Nuevos Canticuentos for Best Children’s Album at the Latin Grammy Awards!

A bit of history: Canticuentos
– Canticuentos began in 1975 when Marlore Anwandter (a Chilean-born composer, journalist and educator) created songs inspired by everyday scenes and folkloric rhythms (songs include La Iguana y el Perezoso, Sammy El Heladero, La Bruja Loca)
– Working with Codiscos S.A.S in Colombia, Marlore recorded the first Canticuentos album in Medellín, with children singing and participating, alongside professional musicians.
– Over the years, Canticuentos has become a beloved collection, spanning several volumes and generations—cherished by children, parents, and schools across Colombia and Latin America.

Here’s hoping Los Nuevos Canticuentos earns the accolade it deserves!
